Mr. Wasilisin is the Deputy Executive Director of the Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO), where he brings over 28 years of professional administrative experience at both the state and local levels of government. John has management responsibilities for overseeing the day-to-day operations of TEDCO and assisting the Executive Director in governmental relations as well as developing  corporate strategy.

John has held senior executive positions in Maryland state government as Deputy Secretary of the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation and the Department of Budget and Management. At the local government level, John was the County Administrative Officer for Baltimore County and also was the Director of the county’s Office and Employment and Training.

John holds a B.S. in Business Management and Administration from the University of Baltimore, Merrick School of Business.
