ABOUT THE SHOWCASE:
Based in Maryland, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) is the world's largest organization dedicated to cancer research. The research arm of NCI's intramural program is the Center for Cancer Research (CCR), an organization of scientists, physicians, trainees, and support staff dedicated to making fundamental discoveries in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer and HIV/AIDS.
Many CCR innovations, which already have been transferred out of the lab, have evolved into new treatments and technologies to improve the lives of patients today. This marketplace event showcases new opportunities for technology transfer to occur.
